Camera

This system supports the driver by detecting vehicles, people, and other objects in front of the driver using a camera installed inside the windshield, and by detecting the white line in the lane in which the driver is traveling.

Millimeter-wave radar

Millimeter wave radar mounted in front of the vehicle detects the distance to the vehicle ahead and obstacles.
Since autocruise is also affected, adjustments are necessary during accident repairs or after a major impact.

Others

It also supports calibration of other sensors, such as blind spot monitors that check not only the front but also diagonally behind the vehicle, around-view monitors that show the entire perimeter of the vehicle, and ultrasonic sensors used in false dispatch suppression systems. MGH has installed the original diagnostic equipment to handle trucks as well.
